David Atkins is one of Hollywood’s most prolific and successful writers, with a 20 year track record of writing a large number of produced network teleplays and hit comedy features such as Novocaine, (which he also directed), starring Steve Martin, Lorna Dern and Helena Bonham Carter, Arizona Dream, starring Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway and Peroxide Passion starring Aasif Mandvi and Laurie Bagley. He was also one of the writers on the recent smash hit movie Hot Tub Time Machine starring John Cusack and Chevy Chase.
He is currently overseeing the company’s scripted slate including two features and several TV series, as well as developing a number of his own comedy and scripted projects, including a TV comedy series, The Horrible Terrible Misadventures of David Atkins, which recently won the Character’s Welcome Award at the New York Television Festival.
